Our teachers are true professionals in the area of early education. All teachers complete an extensive training period and are responsible for increasing their skills by continuing education and attending seminars that are appropriate for their age groups.
Our staff goes through a rigorous screening, local background check, federal fingerprint and criminal background checks. Additionally prior employment checks and verifications are conducted. All of our employees must take the Department of Children and Family (DCF) mandated minimum 45 hours introductory training and childcare module training.
Furthermore, our employees must have at least 10 hours a year of in-service classes taken. Most of our employees have obtained the Florida Child Care Professional
Credential Certificate (FCCPC) which involves over 600 hours of child care specific training. Over 60% of our teachers have received the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid Training.
Our teachers are required to maintain a continuing education program by attending workshops and training offered by the Early Learning Coalition (ELC) of South West Florida and the DCF.
